    Like the set up one question can you make a video on how you connect the crown amps to the controller and to speakers,I have the pioneer flx10 with 2 15 inch EVs and a 12 inch EV sub with the yamaha mg12xu how can I connect a crown amp to my set up

    • @Housemix10
      @Housemix10 Місяць тому

      Thanks for watching. First thing to confirm. Your speakers are passive, that is the only way you should use a amplifier. If you want to use a FLX10, MG12XU, and EV Tops and Subs you can do the following again as long as your speakers are passive and not powered. Connect the Output of your FLX10 to one of the channels of the MG12XU. Connect the output of your MG12XU to the Input on your amplifier. Connect the output of your Amplifier to your speakers.

    • @Housemix10
      @Housemix10 2 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching. I can tell you about two events I have done with it. The first was a Race at a large field. I used the same amount of speakers from this video, I used a XDJ RX2 instead of CDJ's. I would say the volume was much louder for a longer period of time that the 4 hours from this video and the Jackery lasted about 2.5 hours before it was needing to recharge. Another event, I rented it out to a friend who was DJ'ing on a float in a parade. 3 hr event, he used 2 QSC K12.2, controller and Laptop. No issues, the Jackery lasted the 3 HRs and still had about 20% left.

      @Housemix10 3 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching. I have the 1500 and that can surely handle the XDJ RX3. If you want to get the 500 you would need to figure out how much of a power draw the RX3 uses and compare that to the output from the 500.

      Thanks for watching. It does not appear like it in the video but the spaces were very large and I always l like to make sure that the audio covers the area. Unless the space is too small I rarely use just one speaker for anything.

    Hey man, I got an XDJ XZ and a JVC Large speaker that runs on Battery. If I connect my Speaker to my XDJ XZ, then my XDJ XZ to a generator, will the Generator need the wattage power to cover the Speaker? Even though the speaker runs on battery? Because its connected to my XDJ XZ? Or If I just get a smaller generator just for the XDJ XZ and use this method, will be okay? Help please someone. I want to film myself in the desert DJing.

      Hey thanks for watching. I would speak with your client and give them a chance to give you some "favorite" songs of the Family or of the birthday boy. Depending on how religious the event is the music will either be very Hebrew or just very popish / Up to date. Good luck.

    I’m confused. I’m not an electrician. Let’s say a jacket outputs 2000w. My speakers are 2000 watts each. 4 speakers. Wouldn’t I need 8000w to run just that?

    • @Housemix10
      @Housemix10 4 місяці тому

      I am not a Electrician either but I do know that the wattage that your amp pushes to the speakers is not the same as what it consumes from the power current. Basically Wattage = Amps X Volts. You can look at the power section of your amp to determine the Amperage that it consumes, power draw. Volts should be there also. That is why I like this unit so much. The display actually shows you the wattage being pulled by what is plugged in.

      @@djstevieo It is really not that simple. I have used the same exact equipment used in this video and played soft to moderately loud music and I was able to get 4 hours easily out of the Jackery. Another time I used the same equipment and played very loud music and I was only able to get 2 hours out of the Jackery. That is because the Amplifiers will draw more power as the music gets louder. Does this make sense to you?

      Check the power consumption rating in your speaker info (sometimes have to go online to find it). For example I have DXR15 IIs and the actual power consumption Yamaha state is 130w and that will be at maximum

At the end of the demo when he announced that the RCF's were the last ones, those were the ones that I thought sounded the best and that explains why I say RCF'S all day. The EV'S sounded the worst!
